*Dr. Fraser’s Daily Notes: 22012025:* One thing that is not easy to see is that our exports to many countries are increasing: our exports to India, Brazil, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico are all increasing. Some rose by more than 1%, such as Russia, which was unable to export on a large scale due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and some directly rose by more than 7%.
Taking ASEAN as a whole in 2024 as an example, ASEAN’s surplus with the United States has expanded, and more things have been sold to the United States, but on the other hand, we see that ASEAN’s deficit with China has also expanded. Buy more things from China, transfer them to ASEAN and then to the United States.
